What management technology can be used in the pig dung disposal system?

Our pig manure organic fertilizer making line provides organic fertilizer fermentation techniques. The conversion of pig dung to organic fertilizer is of great significance. Livestock and poultry manure is a traditional Chinese high-quality organic fertilizer. Increasing the application of organic fertilizers can reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers used, improve the soil structure, and significantly improve the quality of agricultural products. It is an important measure to promote the sustainable development of agriculture and the production of pollution-free agricultural products. It can not only effectively solve the environmental pollution problem of intensive livestock and poultry farms, prevent and control agricultural non-point source pollution, and realize clean production of animal husbandry, but also produce high-quality organic fertilizer products, promote the process of organic fertilizer industrialization, and realize the sustainable development of ecological agriculture to reach the region. The organic combination and coordinated development of “aquaculture” and “cropping industry” promotes a virtuous cycle of agricultural waste treatment and utilization.

Natural composting fermentation pig manure is piled in a fermentation tank, covered with straw, and after a long period of natural anaerobic fermentation (some up to several years), it is directly applied to the ground during the fertilization season. This method has been widely used in small farms in remote areas. The main reasons are: first, the small farm is located in a remote area, far away from residential areas, and the area is vast. Second, the natural composted and fermented fertilizer is used nearby in the small farm, not far away. However, most intensive livestock and poultry farms in China are concentrated in the suburbs of cities, very close to residential areas, and there is no large amount of land around to absorb the continuous production of pig manure.

The drying method is to spread pig manure evenly on the field and use solar energy for natural drying. The method has low investment and low cost, but it covers a large area, has serious environmental pollution, and has a lot of fertilizer nutrient loss. It is also difficult to produce normally in rainy and snowy seasons, and it is difficult for the product to meet the requirements of harmlessness. The method is suitable for the treatment of scattered livestock and poultry manure by livestock and poultry farms, but is not suitable for intensive livestock and poultry farms to process large and concentrated livestock and poultry manure.

The direct rapid drying method is a rapid processing method that uses high-temperature hot flue gas to directly dry and sterilize pig manure, and control the moisture content of the product below the safe storage moisture. The direct rapid drying method has the advantages of rapid processing, simple operation, good product quality, free from climate restrictions and continuous production. It was widely used in the fecal treatment of intensive chicken farms in the 1990s. However, this method has high energy consumption, and improper treatment of the drying tail gas is likely to cause secondary pollution. Therefore, when the moisture content of livestock manure is high or in areas where coal resources are scarce and environmental protection requirements are high, its usability is restricted.

Biogas anaerobic fermentation method uses pig manure from livestock farms as raw materials. In the biogas fermentation device, under the condition of isolating oxygen, through the action of microorganisms, the carbon element is finally decomposed into combustible gas (biogas). The biogas anaerobic fermentation method is suitable for the treatment of liquid livestock and poultry manure from the intensive livestock and poultry farms using the water flushing (or blister) manure removal process.
